12. Course Attendance and Participation

Consistent attendance and active participation are crucial for maximizing the benefits of our acting courses. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally prevent attendance, students are expected to make every effort to attend all scheduled sessions. Excessive absences may impact a student's ability to fully grasp the course material and participate effectively in group activities.

In cases of unavoidable absence, students are encouraged to notify their instructor in advance and make arrangements to catch up on any missed content. However, please note that Thespian Academy is not obligated to provide make-up sessions or individual tutoring for missed classes. The responsibility for staying current with the course material rests with the student.

13. Performance and Showcase Opportunities

Thespian Academy is dedicated to providing students with ample opportunities to showcase their talents and hone their performance skills. Throughout the duration of various courses, students may have the chance to participate in scene work, workshops, and potentially even performances open to the public.

Participation in these showcase opportunities may be subject to instructor approval and audition requirements. Thespian Academy reserves the right to select students based on their performance level, commitment, and overall suitability for the role. However, we strive to provide as many students as possible with valuable performance experience.

Students who participate in public performances may be required to sign a separate release form granting Thespian Academy the right to use their image and performance footage for promotional purposes. This helps us to further promote our students and showcase the high quality of training provided at Thespian Academy.
